About Chrissy
I qualified in 1973 and have worked in the NHS as Senior 1 for Child Health and Health Education for five years at Salford, Oldham and Calderdale Health Authorities.
Next I was Head of Service in Hong Kong where I set up a Podiatry Department for the Hong Kong Government and in my spare time began a private practice at The Sports Injury Clinic, an expat physiotherapy practice on Hong Kong Island. Whilst in Hong Kong I also did some volunteer work at Bowring Vietnamese refugee camp, a leper colony and The Little Sisters of the Poor.
On return to the UK I did some work with the NHS in Birmingham, my special interest is in biomechanics and gait analysis. I was lucky enough to shadow the clinical head of Biomechanics at the Rehabilitation Centre, Oak Tree Lane, Selly Oak Hospital, so I have a great grounding in Biomechanics.
My next job was in a multidisciplinary private health clinic in the centre of Birmingham with a GP, dentist, physiotherapist and optician providing one of the first laser eye surgery treatments.
Following this, I became self employed and worked in various private practices, plus undertaking some locum clinical teaching at The School of Podiatry, Matthew Boulton College, Birmingham.

My Clinic
Which brings me to present date, where I currently have a lovely podiatry clinic at Craycombe Farm, Fladbury—such a beautiful location with free parking right outside the door. Not to mention a great café where you can get lunch or just have a coffee.
The site also has a hairdresser, beauticians, a wedding dress shop, sound studio, and guitar shop + cake-making studio.
Chrissy Booth Podiatry has a welcoming reception area, with comfortable seating, free tea or coffee, biscuits, Wi-Fi and up-to-date magazines. The treatment room has a hydraulic chair, modern surgery furniture, sterilising equipment and is spotlessly clean.
